is a Yoga Instructor, Professional Dancer, Choreographer, and Energy Worker. She graduated from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pa with a BFA in Modern Dance. She then went on to create her own modern dance collective, perform in a professional dance company, and study circus aerial skills. She has choreographed and danced in numerous shows, festivals, fundraisers, and events in Philadelphia, NYC, and Panama.


Her Yoga journey began in 2006 when she tore her ACL in dance class. Yoga helped her recover from the injury and she came back stronger physically and mentally. In 2007 after attending the Yoga Child Teacher Training Program at Yoga Child Studio, she began teaching kids the importance of yoga and mindfulness at numerous schools, community centers, and studios ranging from ages 2-13 years. She then went on to attain her Adult 200 Hour Yoga Certification from Dhyana Yoga Studio. Continuing with her kids classes, she also started teaching Vinyasa Yoga and her signature Yoga Dance Fusion class in studios around Philadelphia. In 2011 she had the opportunity to travel to Toronto, Canada to study teaching yoga to kids with specials needs and developmental challenges from Jo Manuel the Director of The Special Yoga Center in London. She taught yoga to autistic children and began seeing the deeper benefits of how yoga can be medicine and therapy. In 2012 she moved to Panama to be with her family and begin a new exciting adventure. She continued her yoga studies by obtaining her Prenatal Yoga Certification from Leila Zinni at Dhyana Yoga Studio and has had the honor of teaching moms before and after baby. She is studying her 500 hour advance teacher training under Yoga Medicine with the internationally renowned Tiffany Cruikshank. Jackie has expanded her studies mentally and spiritually as well studying with Danielle Stimpson of Learn Reiki Philadelphia becoming an energy worker and certified Advance Level Integrated Energy Therapy practitioner.

In January 2015 Jackie began teaching yoga retreats in Panama. Working with Nirvana Charters she taught five yoga retreats on a sailboat, catamaran, and on a desert Islands in areas such as San Blas and Bocas Del Toro. She currently teaches a community class in Casco Viejo and teaches private solo and group classes all throughout Panama City. Jackie believes that yoga provides a nurturing pathway of positivity and growth that can transform any life. A healthy balanced lifestyle and mindset can be cultivated at every age no matter what. She has extensive experience working with kids, seniors, pre and post-natal women, special needs kids, recovering medical and cancer patients, athletes, beginners, and advance practitioners making her a well rounded yoga instructor for any body type, situation, or level. She comes to every class with an open heart, a sense of humor, and a determination for her students to reach their fullest potential and optimal health. To her yoga is a life practice that supports the daily choices we make to cultivate happiness and well being mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Her dancer soul comes through during her classes in the focus she places on alignment and artistry. Her creative sequencing and themes as well as her detailed tutorials on poses and variations always keep her students inspired and learning.  Expect the most up to date information in the yoga world because Jackie is always studying, traveling, and continuing her education to improve as a teacher. She stays informed and experienced to help her students grow their yoga practice.
